The Musselburgh Horticultural Society is more than 150 years old and exists to support and promote horticulture in the Musselburgh area. It is a Scottish Charity (No. SC028659) and all events are organised by a small committee of members. We are just a great fun, friendly group of folks who enjoy sharing our love of plants and gardening.
Our Flower Show is held in August each year and encourages the participation of novice & inexperienced Gardeners, Crafters & Bakers to enable amateurs to take part. You can see photos from some of our previous shows on our News page.
Each year we hold a Plant Sale in May, and that will be advertised locally and through our Facebook page.
Our Outing is held in June each year, and enables us to visit an interesting garden as a group with transport provided. Again, this will be advertised on Facebook and to members in advance. Non-members are also welcome to attend but as places are limited members will be given priority. You can see photos from some of our previous outings on our News page.
We also hold talks by guest speakers throughout the year.
Our membership fee is £10.00. If you would like to join, please email us for further details.
